Our church gets its name from a verse in the Bible.  Jesus said, “You are My friends if you do what I command.” (John 15:14)  It is our greatest desire to be “friends” of Jesus and to follow His teachings.

Our mission as a church is to glorify God through our commitment to Jesus Christ expressed in inspiring worship, loving fellowship, personal spiritual growth, and in caring outreach to our community and the world.  We want to provide worship opportunities that help you to feel and experience the presence of God in your life, as well as learning more about God.  We are a friendly family offering love and friendship.  We want to be a safe place where people can be open and honest about their questions and struggles.  We are family - part of the family of God.

We desire to help everyone grow spiritually in a life-changing, loving personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Everyone is on a personal search for happiness and fulfillment.  The only way to fill that empty place is knowing God in a personal way.  The Bible says that no one who trusts in Jesus will ever be disappointed with Him!

As a church we want to make a difference in our community.  We desire to be the spiritual center of the community and to show God’s love to our community in every way we can.  We also believe that each of us is to make a difference in our homes, in our neighborhoods, in our schools, in the workplace, wherever we are, in Jesus’ name.
